From another part of the Internet...

ArthurCRS, one of the users of Cambridge-based website We're All Neighbours, has recently noticed that a fox has taken up residence on the roof of his garden shed. He wonders if the fox is likely to give him any problems.

Randomandtwisted, a fellow user of said site, replies thus:

"A few years ago the fox might have attracted swarms of rampant aristocrats with their horses and their dogs. Thankfully, the aristocrat problem has largely been dealt with. They gave TB to badgers, you know. And gin to children."

Very good advice.

A fox. Beautiful but - admittedly - very stinky. Better than aristocrats
whichever way you look at it, meanwhile.
